ROXAS City, Capiz – Two friends face charges of drug trafficking after being arrested on July 17 at Sitio Tabay Brgy as part of a narcotics buying operation. Barra here
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of the Provincial Police Bureau of Capiz (CPPO) stuck to Jose Luna Bacalangco, 27, a fisherman from Brgy. Barra here; and Antonio Magno Garche, 44, from Barangay 2, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental but temporarily residing in Barangay Barra.
According to the Chief Inspector. Hilbert Gervero, chief of the PDEU, Bacalangco and Garche, delivered five packets of alleged shabu worth 40,000 pesos; a digital scale; Gervero said that an abandoned house where Garche remained served as a drug den
The duo would be the source of another alleged drug trafficker, Julius Anisco of Brgy. Culasi
Anisco was arrested Monday at Sitio Lawis Brgy. Baybay here.
Recovered from Anisco were four packets of suspected shabu; The three men are currently being held in the Roxas City Police Station cell and charged with violating Republic Act 9165 (Hazardous Drugs Act, 2002).
