Criminal gang leader, accomplice arrested at Caloocan buy-bust

The leader of a criminal gang operating in parts of Manila and Bulacan as well as his accomplice were arrested Friday morning in a procurement operation at the town of Caloocan

. Rolando Arnaiz aka Lang-Lang and David Montalbo aka Dave at Tulyahan Road, at the corner of Ignacia Street in Barangay Sta. (RDEU-NCRPO), Caloocan Police Station and the Philippine Narcotics Control Agency (PDEA) -NCR. Quiteria

Arnaiz is the alleged leader of the Roban Valenzuela-Lang Lang Arnaiz gang, responsible for drug trafficking and firearms activities in the Caloocan City, Quezon City and Bulacan provinces.

Arnaiz is currently listed as the most wanted person at the Novaliches Police Station.

According to the initial report, the suspects arrived in the area where the transaction was supposed to take place, embarking on a black Mazda car. The undercover officer then approached the two and bought 50 grams of "shabu", using P100,000 in the money buy-bust. After the transaction, the agents immediately arrested the suspects.

They confiscated a firearm, three magazines, 15 live ammunition and 350 grams of illegal drugs for about P2.3 million.

Arnaiz and Montalbo are currently in the custody of the RDEU-NCRPO for investigation. They will be charged for violating Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act 2002 and the Firearms and Ammunition Act 10591. ROY NARRA
