World Poker Tour Announces Inaugural Event in Vietnam

The World Poker Tour (WPT) announces the first WPT Vietnam, to be held at the Pro Poker Club in Ho Chi Minh from September 26 to October 4, 2018.

The new WPT Vietnam is part of the expanded tour of the tour. Asia-Pacific route following WPT Japan and WPT Korea events recently unveiled and the inaugural WPT New Zealand festival last month. He will also join Japan and Korea in what the WPT calls an "Asia Swing" for Asian players, the three events all taking place over a period of 20 days

WPT Vietnam will present a Main Event buy-in of VND 22 million from 28 September to 2 October 2018, with a guarantee of VND 8 billion (US $ 345,000).

It immediately follows the WPT Japan, which will run from 15 to 17 September in Tokyo, and WPT Korea from September 18 to 24. at Paradise City Casino in Incheon, South Korea.

In a unique effort to help players move from one event to the next. other during Asia Swing, participating players WPT Japan will have the opportunity to participate in the preliminary phases of the WPT Korea Main Event. WPT Japan players can play the first leg of the WPT Korea in Japan, with those advancing by joining the next WPT Korea Main Event in Paradise City.
