MANILA, Philippines – Ricardo C. Puno, former judge of the Court of Appeal (CA), died on Wednesday, July 25, his family confirmed.

He had 95.

"Today, my father, Judge Ricardo C. Puno Sr., has joined his Creator," said the former representative of Antipolo, Roberto " Robbie "Puno in a Facebook message Wednesday.

Puno was District Judge from 1962 to 1973 before being appointed Associate Judge of the Board, where he served from 1973 to 1978.

He was Member of Parliament from 1978 to 1984 and Minister of Justice from 1979 to 1984. He was also delegate of the Philippines to the United Nations General Assembly from 1979 to 1984.
