Kendrick Lamar makes the move to another type of scene
The 31-year-old rapper will appear in an upcoming episode of the 50 Cent Starz TV series, Power. In a statement obtained by Pitchfork, executive producer Mark Canton says he is "delighted" to have Kendrick's guest star.

Kendrick Lamar will play against 50 Cent in the Sunday Power episode, reported Variety. The episode is called Happy Birthday.
The network did not publish a name for the character played by Kendrick or said he would represent himself.
50 Cent advertised on Instagram a few days before, saying: "Yeah you know I'm different, wait to see Power this Sunday. You will not believe who we had on the show. "
The clip that accompanies the post alludes to the possibility that his character, Kanan, could become an unlikely ally during the episode. Perhaps Kendrick is this ally
