Taking the Trinoma P2P bus instead of Robinson Malolos and Sta Maria, Bulacan
Traveling from Bulacan to Quezon City is now easier. Today, the Ministry of Transportation (DOTr) has launched two new lines for their Point-to-Point Premium (P2P) buses that run from the Bulacan area to Quezon City. To be specific, the two new P2P bus lines will be Santa Maria, Bulacan at Trinoma North Avenue in Quezon City and Robinson's Place Malolos, Bulacan at Trinoma North Avenue, Quezon City.
For those planning to use the Bulacan P2P travel bus to Trinoma or vice versa, the service is free today. Similar to other roads, the first P2P trip from Bulacan to Trinoma will begin at 5 am with the last bus leaving at 8 pm. The DOT states that there will be 15 buses that will cover the route with a fixed schedule of departures every 30 minutes, regardless of the number of passengers. The bus will then pass directly from the terminal to the landing point without frequent stops. At the time of writing, the DOTr has not published any information regarding pricing prices on new P2P routes.
Premium buses use a cashless system with rechargeable Prime Tap cards. All buses are air-conditioned and equipped with many features such as Wi-Fi, TV and CCTV, just to name a few. They also feature a retractable ramp for wheelchairs to facilitate access for people with disabilities.
The two roads connecting Bulacan to Trinoma contribute to the extension of the P2P network. The addition of new roads should help decongest traffic and encourage private vehicle users to take the P2P bus instead. Other routes for the P2P bus are currently planned in Metro Manila and in other regions.
