Google Home Mini – Walmart sold the Google Home Mini for $ 29 + a $ 25 Shopping Offer. The $ 25 shopping has been $ 25 off a Walmart order through Google Express. This offer is a better buy than Google Home Mini deal which was $ 29 plus a $ 10 Best Buy gift card (found on page 2 of its Black Friday ad).
Cheapest 39-inch HDTV – Walmart deal of an Element 39-inch HD Class (720P) Smart LED TV for $ 125 was the cheapest mainstream 39-inch Black Friday TV deal last year. This gave Walmart an easy win over Best Buy.
Xbox One S 500GB Console – Walmart offered the Xbox One S 500GB Console for $ 189. Best Buy had a similar deal on page 2 of its Black Friday ad) but it was $ 0.99 more. Walmart wins for a deal not just for the 99c, but which one was better.
Nintendo Switch Console – Walmart offered the Nintendo Switch Console with Blue Neon and Red Neon Joy-Con for $ 299. Again this was 99c cheaper and better than the Nintendo Switch Console (page 13 of the Best Buy Black Friday ad).
Shopping Hours: While Best Buy opened its doors at 5pm on Thanksgiving and Walmart only opened at 6 pm, Walmart was open the entirety of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Best Buy, on the other hand, close to Black Friday before reopening at 8am. Walmart being open the entirety of Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

The reason I look closely at history Walmart and Best Buy follow a predictable pattern of running year-on-year just updated with the latest technology. Therefore, for Black Friday 2018 we should expect these:
Black Friday Ad Scan Release Dates – History tell us Walmart's Black Friday ad should be released at approximately 12am AND on Thursday, November 8th while Best Buy Black Friday ad will be released in the early hours of Monday, November 5th.
Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR – Walmart should offer a $ 300 Walmart Gift when activating a new install plan. Best Buy will be quite good, providing $ 200 savings on the Apple iPhone XR with Qualified Activation.
Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 +, Note9 – Again Walmart will provide a $ 300 – $ 350 Walmart Gift Card on the activation of a new instalment plan. Best Buy will come with a deal of $ 300 direct savings with activation

Large 4K TVs – Walmart will have a 55-inch 4K TV for just $ 200 from a respectable brand while a similarly branded 55-inch TV at $ 219.99. Best Buy will continue its trend of offering 49-inch or 50-inch 4K TVs from a $ 169.99 price tag. The brands are almost impossible to pinpoint Black Friday ads arrives (so wait and do your homework) but the pricing is always predictable.
