PH Navy gets highest marks in Asean-China exercises
The Philippine Navy contingent sent to the sea joint exercises between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) and China got the highest rating during the communication drill, its command said on Sunday.
"The Naval Task Group 88, with the efforts of the team and the support of the BRP Dagupan City staff and task group crew, were able to easily respond to the communications challenges facing the radio network," Commander Sherwin Respeto of the Naval Task Group 88 said in a statement.
Aside fro the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Brunei Darussalam also participated in the exercises that ended on the Ma Xie Naval Base in Zhanjiang, China. DEMPSEY REYES
