Dragon Ball GreatThe manga is approaching the end of its power tournament while Goku, Vegeta takes a stand against the player of the universe 11, Jiren, last opponent preventing Universe 7 to win the victory.
Jiren's manga version has been much more talkative, and a conversation in the last chapter shows that Vegeta is burning wildly while he's making fun of Jiren's selfish desire.
After finally responding to Jiren's wish in the Power Tournament, the fans were surprised to see that he wanted to revive his deceased master in order to make him aware of his current strength. In the last chapter, Jiren continues to fight against Ultra Instinct Goku and declares that none of them will match his desire for strength.
When Goku regains his basic form and is saved by Vegeta, Vegeta says that he does not know the whole story of Jiren, but that his wish is selfish. He then burned Jiren with, "Do you want to bring your master back to life so that he can tell you what a good boy you are? It turns out that you rely on others more than anyone else!"
This naturally frustrates Jiren and Vegeta says that he is weakened. With that, Goku and Vegeta start a surprising team and will fight to the best of their ability to defeat Jiren within three minutes after the end of the Power Tournament.
Vegeta has had a ton of brilliant moments in the manga version of the Tournament of Power, and that 's a major difference from the way it was featured in the anime. Although he also fought Jiren in the anime, the moment Vegeta here is much sharper and more faithfully reflects Vegeta's Saiyan pride.
Super Dragon Ball is currently broadcasting English dubbing on Adult Swim during the Toonami programming block on Saturday night at 9:30 pm. It is also available in streaming on Funimation and Amazon Video. The Japanese version of the series is complete and available in streaming on FunimationNOW, VRV and Crunchyroll.
