Mayor Evelio Leonardia said the award would serve as an attraction pole to attract more businesses, especially companies that were looking for city references before investing in the city. the region.

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the award-winning body, has recognized Bacolod City in the Tier 1 category of the city for its support of the government's road building programs that further develop urban progress and create new growth centers, as well as to ensure sustainable livelihoods. through creative programs for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
