IMUS, Cavite – One person died Saturday night while another was injured when two men still unidentified have shot down cockpit at Barangay Anabu II-C, Imus town.

Chief Insp. Chito Macaspac, information officer of the Provincial Police Bureau of Cavite, identified the death as Mario Culanding Reyes Sr. and wounded as Herminiano Bautista Silla
Reyes died on the spot while Silla was hospitalized for treatment. [19659007] The two attackers, one armed with a .45 cal. The gun, escaped after the shooting.
Macaspac, quoting a report from police officer I Jessie Villanueva, a case investigator, said that the attack occurred at the Imus Sports Arena at 6:45 pm. Saturday.
The initial investigation showed that the attackers shot at Reyes and Silla while they were at the entrance to the cockpit.
Suspects, an armed with a callus. gun, fled.
Imus' police had not yet established the motive for the attack.
