A new, faster way to open documents

Did you know that Google provides a suite of free software that anyone can use from their browser? Google's suite of online software, such as Documents and Sheets, has changed the way we work by offering you word processing, presentations and more, without the need to install or transport files.

Google now offers a new way to create documents, websites, presentations, and more using the .new domain.

In 2014, Google had registered several generic URLs with the .new extension. This came after an explosion in the top-level domains that took us from .com, .net and .org to .pizza and .co and hundreds of others. Big companies like Google buy tons of domain names every year for their future projects, their internal goals, and the protection of their intellectual property, so it did not get too much of a hitch.

However, it is now announced a cool new partnership associating these areas as a result of Google applications for documents, websites, forms, and so on.

To begin, you will need a Google account. If you have an Android phone or a Gmail account, you already have everything you need. Otherwise, go to accounts.google.com to create your account. Once connected, everything works seamlessly.

Google Docs

Google Docs is Google's riff on word processing. Think of it as in Microsoft Word, but accessible everywhere.

To start Google Docs with the help of the .new extension:

• Enter doc.new, docs.new, or documents.new in the address bar of your browser.
• Press the Back key

You'll be taken directly to your new Google document, where you can write a document, memo, letter, or word processing needs. Google stores it directly in your Google Drive and you can always come back to it later, although you want to give it a recognizable file name.

Google Forms

Google Forms is a quick way to run surveys, quizzes or assemble web forms for applications such as job applications, subscription subscriptions or registration. An event. You do not need to know sophisticated codes or to have a dedicated website.

• Press the Back key

You will be taken directly into your new spreadsheet.

Google automatically saves everything on your Google Drive, but it's best to immediately give it a memorable name so you can find it.

Google Sites

Google Sites is a great way to create a fast web page for yourself, your family, or your business. You do not need to know the coding, find accommodation or worry about domain names. To start, all you have to do is:

• Type: site.new, sites.new or website.new in the address bar of your browser.
• Press the Back key

You can start working directly in the editor by adding graphics, text, and so on. Once you're done, click Publish and Google will make the site live without a lot of work.

Google Slides

Google Slides is very similar to Microsoft PowerPoint. If you need to create a presentation or slide show, you can do it from the comfort of your browser. To begin:

• Type: slide.new, slides.new, deck.new or presentation.new in the address bar of your browser
• Press the Back key

From there, you can start working immediately on your new slideshow or presentation. It is accessible from anywhere with an Internet connection and the file is saved directly to your Google Drive.
