Always in trouble | Kaiser Island

Always in difficulty

I like all the text messages of my Survivor friends / family who have been pay since Wednesday night, to ensure that I would not be napalmed after the devastating departure of this week.

I entered for the first time in this episode. I'm a little worried about how things might go, but that was honestly a shock for me and a bit of disappointment, but not afterwards. just because I lost my fave. I was expecting her swan song to be one of the strongest of all time, but I think she was a victim of the flood: the hour of the evacuation and the return of two challenges per show. I also did not think we had really progressed in the history of the season. this much further. The three tribes had nothing new to present, but that said, do not get me wrong, it was always a good episode of Survivor and this season remains strong. I guess I just wanted some more napalms from Natalie if the night was to be her last.

IT COMES CLOUD

There come the clouds

Kara has come assault Back at the camp, Vuku wonders what just happened. She had the same thoughts as the rest of us. Why make such a Big Move ™ while there are still sixteen people in the game? Time will tell if we were all in the dark and only Alec could see the light – talking about "how was he managing in the dark clouds that were beginning to arrive? Yeah … it was going to be wet …

Weather reporter

Nothing will ever exceed the episode "No Longer Just a Game" in the Australian outback for me in terms of the heavier "survival" episode of the series. I remember seeing this as a child seriously thinking that someone would die in this riverbed (and praying that it would not be Elisabeth – Keith? Hey, take it or leave it) Yet this storm was bad – the kind of disaster with "tornado winds" that will break your eyes. Okay, Jessica Lewis?

According to the promos, the evacuation was virtually canceled, but that was Carl's return to camp with a note that confirmed him. For a split second, I thought he'd decided to share his idol nullifer, but instead, he was reading another letter signed "Jeffrey XOXO" announcing the temporary withdrawal of all players. They held out as long as they could, but I think it was Natalie, in love with the self-proclaimed, confessional climate, who finally ordered that it's time to leave her island.

It's time to go there

NO! STAY FOREVER!

About the only thing that remained standing after the 48 hour evacuation (!!!) was Vuku's (David's) safe, so thanks to Pat for organizing this! One might wonder what happens during this time "out of the game", but apparently the answer is not great. Players are stuck, unable to speak. Even though they had a full two-day break, we did not miss anything, especially not returning by boat that caused injury. It was just the chance of the Davids, an evacuation being evacuated.

REWARD – DAVID'S SLINGSHOT

Reward

Of all the other millions of things Probst has inserted into the David vs. Goliath theme, how on earth did he make any reference to the GIANT SLINGSHOT FUCKING in this challenge ??? There was even David shooting on it! LET'S GO!

The Davids were indeed the heroes of this one (not to be confused with the "heroes" of the past themes) with Elizabeth and Nick scoring the last two shots for the Vuku and Jabeni tribes. Vuku won an enclosure full of chickens while Jabeni returned home with a dozen eggs. Natalie was even quite excited about the win to hug "David's No.1 Member", probably giving her the vertigo of explaining to her peasants the delicate art of breaking an egg.

LIKE A CHICKEN WITH HIS CUT HEAD

Like a chicken with a cut head

Almost everyone was in a good mood in Vuku as the tribe drooled past the impending fate of one of the chickens with, as Davie put it, the boiled Kentucky chicken or "KBC" on the menu.

KBC

Blurring in her way, Kara ran around the camp to try to protect herself from the next neck. It 's funny how tables turned here: last week, Davie and Elizabeth were in the minority and were throwing each other under the bus. This week, it's Kara who must now sell Alec to buy a few more days. It seems, however, that since she was back from the last vote, Kara is the most obvious person to go to if Vuku was losing again, but, as we all know, this obvious movement is sometimes never taken.

EGG-OTISTIQUE

Egg-otistique

Perhaps Natalie was rejected by the confessional "agent of the airline" label of Lyrsa because, in handling the eggs, Natalie felt that she knew more than the leader. Lyrsa had graduated from cooking with Magna Cum Laude, but, as we have learned, Natalie had a master's degree – most likely a PhD – in Ungraciousness that seemed to outweigh that. Is this a real field of study? I could have to less I've had enough classes to pick up a minor at the university, if any.

It was really nothing new from Natalie, being in hot water like those boiling eggs, so I was not totally worried about her. I imagined that the first Jabeni vote would have taken place between Natalie and Lyrsa. The fact that Lyrsa came out of his almost invisible montage over the last two weeks seemed to indicate that his goose would soon be cooked. Natalie Napalm is not going anywhere!

THE BROCHACHOS

The brochachos

With Davids vs. Goliaths on Vuku (with inverted numbers), Natalie against everyone on Jabeni, and Gabby against Tiva's friends, as I said earlier, there were not so many new stories coming up this week. I looked a little like Gabby with that casual look …

Unplayed Gabby

Dan has discovered a benefit in the game. Oh, wait, I guess it was not a novelty either, but this time it was not an idol, but a clue.

Idol index

I have always liked the idea of hiding idols in the challenges because it adds more difficulty – what I have do not as if we had not yet discovered someone half grappling (at least in the US show). I want to see this shit falling in front of everyone, and Dan being the one who was exposed would have been too perfect … sigh … nothing happened as I did this week.

IMMUNITY – SLOW AND STABLE

Immunity - slow and steady

In the midst of this challenge, I should have known that this episode would feature the fall of the greatest Goliath, who was putting so much emphasis on his groping:

Natalie falls

Natalie falls again

Mike's initial suggestion that Jabeni would be the tribe with the largest number of tribal councils began to materialize as Vuku and Tiva first reached the final phase of the challenge. Once Jabeni caught up with him, Dan was finally able to sneak in a bit and catch that idol in the manner of Wentworth.

Idol grab

Note to future survivors: Never turn your back on anyone during a challenge.

Initially, John was chosen to win a victory at Tiva, but it was Christian's careful tact that eventually kept his tribe intact and save Gabby perhaps more than he knew. It was a photo-finish for second place, but Alec once again made an aggressive Big Move ™ and defeated Jabeni. Nick just could not find that hole fast enough. "So slowly … it does not even move," as Jeff sadly stated. Lyrsa feared that the vote would occur between her and the "lovely lady" who, believe it or not, was what she called Natalie.

JACKET MILLION DOLLARS

Jacket of one million dollars

Natalie asked a simple question: keep it or keep it? Focusing on the strength of the challenge, Natalie, Angelina and Mike quickly responded: keep Nick. However, with the decision to let Lyrsa go, Angelina still wanted to keep some of her in the game:

I want the Lyrsa jacket

Ah yes. The coveted Lyrsa jacket for members. Angelina finally had enough of the cold nights in Fiji and told Natalie that she wanted Lyrsa's jacket, as Lyrsa would no longer need it soon. Natalie, being her loyal and loving friend, is given a mission to get this gift for Angelina.

Natalie gave Nick an offer he could not refuse: steal Lyrsa's jacket for his safety. Natalie told Nick, "I want this jacket," and told him that if he did not deliver, he would have finished. Since he did not feel comfortable flying to Lyrsa, Natalie then asked him to offer him his own jacket in exchange. If someone really wanted to tell someone to "give me your jacket or I vote you out", is anyone surprised that it is Natalie?

Leverage

This "intimidation" did not attract Nick, so he went to Mike to ask him to commit Queen Mary's regicide. What was disconcerting here, is that Mike clearly wanted Natalie to leave, he had the numbers to do it with Nick and Lyrsa, but he wanted Nick to be the only one selling the plan to Angelina? Would not it have been safer than Mike himself approached Angelina? I understand that he does not want to move without her, but something was a little disappointing about Mike not wanting to get dirty at all, when it would be difficult to convince Angelina to defeat the tyrant.

With Angelina weighing in on what to do, I thought that the Natalia boot would have helped her stay strong in Goliath's thinking. So I entered a tribal council extremely confident that all this negativity Natalie was only a red herring. It simply does not work feel as the end of Natalie's so-called "reign of terror".

NATALIE NEEDS THE LAST WORD

Natalie needs the last word

"Jackets and eggs" made this tribal council rage, and much of that anger directed again towards Natalie, who for 15 days was still not used to being the center of all the drama. Kiss him, Natalie. That's why so many of us go crazy for you.

Drama

Yes! Exactly like that!

It was still a wild tribe council with Natalie in defense, but this time she kept her head a little cold without any "hands-on conversation" as she had done with Jeremy. She was almost … laid back, at least for Natalie, which made me even more convinced that she was not going anywhere. That's not how Natalie was supposed to go. Of course, she let out a few sparks, but I was waiting for Natalie's last position to be HELLFIRE's. At least she brought the heat into her last election confessional, inviting Lyrsa to bring her green jacket back to Boston, but also closing herself with a compliment on Lyrsa's purple hair. Adorable lady indeed.

Vote

Woof at this spelling name Lyrsa though. What does it say? Lyrsy? Lindsay? In his defense, learning David's two names was too much of a task, even for a Goliath. So I can forgive him for being content to learn the easier name of both. Speaking of Nick, I also loved his short but relevant confession, saying to Natalie, "you can do a preacher preaching." I bet she can also get a ball for her.

Cue the charmpocalypse

FEAR THE CHARMPOCALYPSE!

It was a real #SurvivorBlindside for me, the biggest so far of the season. Logically, the vote was quite logical considering that Natalie was facing many critics in every episode, but Natalie's story still did not seem to be over. I thought that there were still many weeks for this star to turn on and burn. I do not feel like we have the biggest episode of boots we can have for her, but her outing was still iconic.

The votes arrive

Cuddles

Heh what?

That's a no from me

Natalie?

Smiling, popular

Natalie?

Exit, right step

Natalie?

Last words, with jacket

Awk.

And with that, this season is over! What a weird editing choice to make the big winner look like a vote, but after 37 seasons they have to try new things! Congratulations to the winner of Survivor: David vs GoliathNatalie Cole!

Next time on SURVIVOR

Survivor next time

I laugh! If only it was the truth …

Yeah, push that knife deep, Angelina, right into my heart! She would have been wise to keep Natalie as a shield, because it seems that Mike, the rock star, is about to move to the rhythm of his own drum and let down Angelina. Finally, Alison speaks and speaks on a blind side of Dan. Kara still waiting to be killed in Vuku – Natalie the Achilles' heel of the Goliaths? This is proof that she was really what could have kept this game Goliath strong.

Description: Players of the week "class =" imghead

Natalie

Our fallen angel …

Honorable mentions include the entire Jabeni tribe for eliminating the biggest threat of the game, but this week this section will serve as a tribute to Natalie Cole.

From the moment I saw her in the first David against Goliath promo, I knew that she would be my favorite. Hard as nails, as authoritative as can be, the oldest woman in the cast … I said in my assessment of the cast that it was as if CBS had chosen Natalie just for me and that she had exceeded all my wildest expectations (with the exception of hers finalist …) would disagree, but Natalie delivered every second she was on the screen for me. It's a travesty that I will have to spend the next two months without her. I could not even be crushed by reaction shots like this to the jury!

Natalie

Natalie was the most impressive social / strategic / physical player of all time YES! Agree, okay, I'll admit it – no, but it's never what I prefer to see. I want character, drama and a story and Natalie did everything for her. She has provided more documents than anyone else, which is probably more precisely what I am here above all else. If the series is composed only of super fans, all experts on the technique of the best game, I will be the first to say how this season would be shitty. We need people like Natalie, who play with passionate emotion and can cause such split between fans, bringing us memorable moments both applauded and chastised. We need people who can cause this kind of squeak on the tribal council:

Mike angry

I hope to see Natalie play again. I need see Natalie play again. Five episodes were not enough! I know that CBS is reluctant to make another vote of second chance fans. They have an interest in doing their job and putting Natalie on their ballot. I am going to gather the votes to bring her back to this island, even if they have to come from robots accounts or from deceased people. Not that I doubt his ability to be voted by the living, but the series could also make me strong and throw it on the next Heroes vs villains instead – as hero, obviously.

Natalie

That she reigns a long time.
