Apple would improve most of its Mac lineup this fall, including the Mac mini

The analyst of the supply chain Apple Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities released its research note on predictions for the fall range of Apple – and this is a doozy, via 9to5Mac .

Kuo's note claims that in addition to the three new iPhone models already launched, Apple will put almost all of its Mac and MacBook (including long -suffering Mac mini). He also says that Apple will introduce new Face ID-free iPads, will update the Apple Watch with larger screens, and will launch a new pair of AirPods and the AirPower wireless charger announced today. Last year.

That's a lot to admit, so we'll break everything:

  • iPhones : The rumor of the three iPhone for this fall is unchanged. Three new models are expected: an updated version of the iPhone X with a 5.8-inch OLED display, a 6.5-inch larger iPhone X Plus OLED model and a mid-range LCD model of 6 , 1 inch that should borrow the Face ID and the bezel design from the iPhone X at a lower price.
  • Macs : Kuo claims that the MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini (yes, really) are all slated for upgrades this fall, presumably with the latest eighth Intel Core processors generation.
  • MacBook Air : In addition to the improvements mentioned above, Kuo says that Apple will finally replace the old MacBook Air by a new model of economical laptop, although it is not a problem. there is no real information on what it will look like.
  • iPads : It is said that new iPad Pro models are in the works, both of which would offer Face ID and a frameless design updated without a Home button (just like the iPhone X). Kuo says two sizes are planned: an updated 12.9-inch model and an 11-inch version (which can replace the current size of 10.5 inches).
  • Apple Watch : Two Apple Watch models are expected to have slightly larger displays: the smaller 38mm model will change from a 1.5-inch display to a 1.57-inch display, and the 42mm model will go from a 1.65-inch to 1.78-inch display, adding enhanced heart rate detection. It is not yet known if Apple will simply put larger screens in the existing body of the watch or if it is a more radical overhaul of the wearable range.
  • AirPower : Apparently, this fall, about a year after Apple has announced.
  • AirPods : It is also said that they will receive a new update this fall. It will likely be a more modest upgrade with improved wireless performance, a hands-free Siri, as well as an AirPower-compatible wireless charging box. This will probably not be the most drastic noise and waterproof suppression update that has been prevalent for 2019.

If Kuo is ok, it seems like it will be a busy downfall for Apple. And if he's wrong … well, it will not be the first time my heart will be broken by the rumors of a Mac mini update.
