K-pop boy band Monsta X has released their new album “Take.1: Are You There?” that marks their comeback to the music scene.

“Take.1: Are You There?” is the idol group’s second studio album and it contains 10 songs including the title track “Shoot Out.” The music video for the song was released Oct. 22 and it has garnered at least 1.52 million views.
“Are You There?” is an extended world that transcends time and space and presents “light and dark, good and evil, life and death, and everything on the border.”
“We want to deliver the message that we are always with our fans. We hope this album delivers a good influence to our fans, as it includes different genres of songs. This album is a compilation of intensity and mellow sounds,” according to the group’s rapper I.M.
The album presents diverse genres including EDM, PBR&B and Latin rhythm while “Shoot Out” represents their world and message, seeking salvation between loss and wandering.
All Monsta X members have contributed to making the songs by participating in lyrics and songwriting like “Mohae,” which was composed by I.M.
“We have high expectation with our new album. Everyone is a bit nervous now, as this is a new start with our fans, and we worked so hard for this album. Every album is so precious for each musician and this album is even more precious for us as it’s our second studio album. We have reflected everything we learned from our last world tour and put it into this album,” said Monsta X’s leader Shownu.
Monsta X will be the first K-pop group to perform on the Jingle Ball concert main stage in the US. They will perform at Jingle Ball for 102.7 KIIS FM Los Angeles, Wild 94.9 San Francisco, 101.3 KDWB Minneapolis, Kiss 108 FM Boston and Q102 Philadelphia that will start Nov. 30.
The group will perform alongside singers such as Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello and 5 Seconds of Summer.
