Assassination of a PDEA agent sentenced

The Philippine Anti-Drugs Agency on Sunday condemned the killing of one of its agents in an ambush by unidentified gunmen in the city of Cebu.

PDEA Dir. General Aaron Aquino identified the victim as the investigator III Earl Rallos, 48, a resident of Labangon, Cebu City.

Aquino expressed his deepest condolences to the family and assured that "his death will not be worthless as we continue our fight against the drug industry".

"For those who seek to harm us, we promise that for every life you take, we will become stronger by ten times, we will not rest until it is over and we will not be in danger. by your criminal acts, "added the head of the PDEA.

Rallos has been assigned to PDEA Regional Office VII as Deputy Chief of Operations.

Rallos, who was driving on his way back Friday afternoon, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle attackers crossing Villalon Street, Capitol Barangay Site, Cebu City.

Rallos suffered bullet wounds on different parts of his body and died on the spot.
