The Department of Health of Central Visayas (DOH-7) has made it clear that deworming tablets that they dispense do not cause any harmful effects.
Ronald Jarvik Buscato, DOH-7 Physician III, said the public may have a misconception about deworming similar to the dengue vaccine.
Although Buscato admits that there are cases of headaches or vomiting, the doctor pointed out that there are no deaths recorded due to deworming.
