It’s the big one, as far as gaming is concerned. Places like Best Buy, Target and Walmart have plenty to offer the video gaming public when it comes to deals for Balck Friday 2018, but GameStop is by far the largest gaming-focused retailer in the United States, and as such it’s a good place to go if you know what you want for Black Friday, and if that thing is games. We still don’t have the company’s full ad yet, but last night we got a look at a sneak peek teasing its biggest deals. So let’s look at some of the best GameStop deals for Balck Friday 2018 on things like Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch and PS4.

For the leaked ad, check out BestBlackFriday.com, and stay tuned for the full ad in the next few days.

The Xbox Deal is pretty straightforward, and it mimics that which we’re seeing at most other major retailers. We’ve got $70 off of any Xbox One X or S consoles, as well as $100 off of the Xbox One S Minecraft creator’s edition. Microsoft itself has $100 off of select Xbox One X consoles, so this might not be your best stop for Microsoft’s super-powered console.

PS4 also sees what’s emerging as the flagship deal of the season: $100 off of a 1 tb base model PS4 with Spider-Man, bringing the price down to $199.99. It’s a great deal if you don’t have a PS4 yet, Spider-Man is one of the best-reviewed games of the season. We’ve also got $100 oof of PSVR, which I actually might get because I hear Tetris Effect is amazing.

Nothing from the world of Nintendo Switch, but we’ll likely see something soon. Other places have had an approximately $60 discount on a bundle with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is retailing for the Switch’s standard MSRP of $299.99.

And then there’s software: GameStop is already a good place to pick up software, and the few deals that we can see already are solid. No Naughty Dog game is over $15, for example, which is a steal considering that these are some of the finest narrative experiences the industry has to offer. And speaking of narrative-focused PS4 exclusives, God of War is down to $29.99, which is excellent. Also on sale are Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit: Become Human and a bunch of Xbox exclusives. Hard to recommend the Xbox exclusives too much when you could just get them with game pass, though.

Expect the full ad soon, but until then, no real surprises. Here’s hoping for some PS4 Pro bundles.
