The recipients are (1) Juan Borja, received by FilVetRep Regional Director, John Victoria; 2) Hilario F. Mata, received by his grandson Florouel M. Asesor; 3) Ramon R. Nacu, received by his son Rafael Nacu; 4) Francisco R. Offemaria, received by his son Francisco M. Offemaria; 5) Jose E. Olivares, received by his grandson, Edward C. Olivares Jr.; 6) Faustino B. Reyes, received by his daughter Eleanor M. Moran; 7) Conrado S. Sabelino, received by his daughter Fatima S. De Lumen; 8) Dr. Angelesio C. Tugado, received by his daughter Angelyn F. Tugado-Marzan; and (9) Tomas A. Viloria, received by his daughter Susan V. Tanedo.
The celebration began with the presentation of the colors by the Army University University Army ROTC Color Conservancy, followed by the singing of the national anthems of the Philippines and the United States. Patrick A. Chuasoto, chief of mission of the Embassy of the Philippines, delivered the opening address.
