ISUZU Philippines Corp. (IPC) today unveiled the updated version of its tough pickup at the 2018 Isuzu Driveway Getaway ". at Thunderbird Resort in La Union. The 2018 D-MAX now offers the latest 1.9-liter RZ4E turbodiesel engine option with the existing 3.0-liter. Hajime Koso, president of IPC, and Joseph Bautista, director of sales and marketing, presented the two updated models

while retaining the aggressive fascia, the new Bi-LED headlights with manual leveling controls now offer more brightness. The LED daytime running lights are now stretched.

The interior, both elegant and athletic, has received many updates and additions. Both varians are equipped with a tactile infotainment system with connectivity features (eight inches with Navi system for 3.0 liters and seven inches for the RZ4E). Several USB terminals and 12-volt sockets are now available for a more gadget-friendly booth.

With regard to safety features, the long list includes two SRS airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) brake assist (BA) and the system of Brake override (BOS) are all standard across the board. The electronic stability (ESC), traction control (TCS), hill start (HSA) and hill descent control (HDC) controls are exclusive to the 3.0 liter version.

The price starts at P1.179 million for variant RZ4E and 1,290 million for the model of 3.0 liters
