Lamborghini reaches a production milestone of 11,000 Huracans and 8,000 Aventador

The current range of Lamborghini supercars consists of only two models: the Aventador and the Huracan. Both models are also produced in the sole production site of the Italian manufacturer in Sant Agata Bolognese. This then limits the production to a number of vehicles per month unlike most major manufacturers. That said, it's no surprise that Lambroghini is once again celebrating another production milestone with these two supercars.

The flagship model of the brand, Aventardor, was introduced in 2011 as a direct successor to Murcielago. Since the start of production seven years ago, the Italian supercar manufacturer has already produced 8,000 copies of its V12 supercar to date. Chassis number 8 000 is an Aventador S Roadster that is painted Grigio Telesto. The 8.000 Aventador will be delivered to their owner in Japan

Meanwhile, the Huracan – which has already hit 10,000 units four months ago – has hit a new production stage next to the Aventador . Lamborghini announced that 11,000 units of the Huracan have already come out of the factory. As a reference, the Aventador V10 powered sibling was introduced in 2014 only to replace the aging Gallardo. The 11 000 Huracan are finished in Blue Nethuns and are destined for the Italian market

Although these figures may seem pale for a car manufacturer, remember that Lamborghini has only one factory compared to other car manufacturers. have several factories all over the world. That said, it's not your daily drivers that can be produced in a few hours

For the first half of 2018, Lamboghini has already delivered a total of 2,327 cars. in the world. Expect this number to increase as deliveries of the Urus SUV also begin.
