Leptospirosis case in Bacolod up 62%

Cases of leptospirosis in the city of Bacolod increased 62 percent in the first six months of the year compared to the number in the same period in 2017, showed records at City Health Office ( CHO). Grace Tan, head of the CHO Division of Environmental Sanitation, said yesterday, July 4, that from January to June 23 this year, Bacolod has a total of 13 suspected cases of leptospirosis of only eight case the previous year.
