MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ – Plays-in-the-Park continues its 2018 summer season with the ABBA musical "Mamma Mia!" The show begins July 11 and is played until July 21 (No show Sunday, July 15)
All performances begin at 8 pm and are staged at the Stephen J. Capestro Amphitheater located in Roosevelt Park from Middlesex County to Edison. The piece will be directed by Moggie Davis, with a choreography by Christy Rak and a musical direction by Warren Helms.
"Mamma Mia!" Uses ABBA's classic 70s sound to tell a family story, fun, romantic and erroneous. On the eve of her wedding, a girl's quest to discover her father's identity brings back three men from her mother's past to the Greek island that they visited there's 20 years.

Tickets for shows can only be purchased on show nights. The ticket office opens at 5:30 pm on show nights and ends at 8:30 pm. Tickets are $ 7 for adults and $ 5 for seniors (60+). Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge

"Mamma Mia!" Interpreter Wanda Toro Turini as Donna Sheridan, the mother of the future Bride Sophie, played by Shannen Doyle, Armando Picone, Joe Riley and Joe Zedeny play Sophie's three possible fathers: Cindy Chait, Katie Riley, Kale Thompson, Samantha Cantaffa, Alexa Karp, Blaze Dalio, Jordan Rubio and Stephen D. Plays-in-the-Park represents a unique collaboration between community theater and local government since 1963. The PIP is sponsored by the Council of Free Elected County of Middlesex and the Middlesex County Parks and Recreation Office.
