Local restaurateur and chef Margarita Fores who was previously given the recognition of Asia’s Best Female Chef now has a new title under her belt. Known for her expertise in Italian cuisine, the culinary master announced on her Instagram profile that she has been knighted (Yes, knighted!). In the caption, she thanked Italian Ambassador Giorgio Guglielmino, as well as her mom for taking her to Italy when she was only ten. “A love affair started and has not ended!” she wrote.
Congrats, Margarita. You make us proud! And to celebrate, we’ll head to Cibo. *wink*
