Maserati introduced a new 3.0-liter V6 engine of 346 horsepower to its SUV range Levante . The new engine will also be proposed through the ranges Quattroporte and Ghibli .
The new engine slots between the 273-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 diesel and the 425-horsepower Levante lineup of the 3.0-liter gasoline V6. Maserati says the new engine is capable of 0-62 mph in six seconds and has a top speed of 156 mph.

According to the NEDC business cycle that will soon be replaced, the V6 of 346 bhp is expected to return up to 24.4mpg and emit 280g / km of CO2.
The new engine joins the Levante range following a series of model year updates for the SUV, which debuted at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed . Competitor updates Porsche Cayenne include new adaptive matrix LED headlights and 11 new exterior color options.
Also launched at Goodwood, a new Levante GTS which is at the top of the range and powered by a 3.8-liter V8 of 542 hp. However, Maserati UK has not said whether this model will be re-engineered for right-hand drive and sold in the UK.
The new Levante 346bh V6 is available for order now with prices starting at £ 61,425. In the Quattroporte prices start from £ 78,120.
