Jose Espinosa III, Mayor of the City of ILOILO, is one of the mayors selected worldwide who will participate in the 6th World Cities Summit and the 2018 Mayors' Forum in Singapore from July 8th to 12th.
Espinosa has always favored the innovations of municipal government services. He initiated the "Pag-ulikid" or "Care Program" which provides front-line services in the barangays (villages), bringing the governance of the people closer together.
He also constantly stressed the importance of collaboration and partnership between government stakeholders to meet the needs and challenges to make Iloilo City a "premier city of SMART excellence" ".
Espinosa hopes to promote and sell the metropolis and build international networks and links as part of the Singapore government's global rally
