NAYPYITAW – Myanmar plans to allow tourists from Japan and South Korea to benefit from a one-year visa from 1st October and Chinese tourists including Hong Kong and Macau can visit Myanmar with a visa on arrival in the same period, according to the Ministry of Hospitality and Tourism.
"This should be done because the tourism industry is declining.I think it will be further improved as there are direct flights from these countries," said Vice President Khin Aung Tun of Myanmar Tourism Federation
Tourists from Japan, South Korea and China Must Present Chinese tourists must pay US $ 50 as a visa upon arrival.
