New DBS Superleggera is the flagship of 715 hp

These numbers help the DBS Superleggera reach an impressive 0-60 mph sprint of 3.2 seconds. milking on the way to a maximum speed of 211 mph. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while a limited slip differential aims to keep things tidy in turns.

The magnificent bodywork of the DBS is dictated by aerodynamics. Kilos of support are generated at the maximum speed of the car, more than any road Aston that preceded it. This is thanks to a dual Formula One inspired diffuser as well as to the open channels behind the front wheels. Despite the added support, Aston says that aerodynamic additions generate no additional drag.

On the front, there is a gaping grille and thin LED headlights, clearly marking an Aston Martin while looking different from any other range. The classic proportions of the long hood and short tail are present and correct, while the body is tucked right in front of the rear wheels to accentuate the powerful hips of the car. A full-width rear lighting element connects the DBS to the latest Vantage.

Inside, there is a 2 + 2 seating arrangement and a driver-focused cab primarily raised from the DB11. Despite the unconditional propensities of the car, the interior remains a place of luxury – leather and Alcantara trim are standard, as are the satellite, multi-purpose cameras, an eight-inch infotainment display ( borrowed from Mercedes) and Bluetooth, iPhone and USB connectivity.

The first deliveries of the amazing Aston Martin DBS Superleggera will begin in the fall. Prices start from £ 225,000 in the UK.
