According to Dave Meltzer, the New Japan Pro Wrestling has recently made great offers to the current talent of the WWE. NJPW is arguably the second largest wrestling promotion in the world and is booming in the US market. Melzer said the following on the Wrestling Observer radio:
A person who is there has received a ridiculous money offer for fewer dates and that has surprised me a lot.
Chris Jericho is currently in the midst of a fantastic race in New Japan. Meltzer said New Japan is "ready to pay a lot of money" as he did when signing Jericho.
In recent years, WWE has recruited several New Japan stars, including Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles. If Meltzer's report is correct, New Japan could seek to attract WWE talent this time around.
