The Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) closely monitors the rapid fires that have already destroyed hundreds of structures and forced thousands of people to evacuate.
The Consulate General of the Philippines in San Francisco also checks the situation of Filipinos in Redding and surrounding areas to determine if the so-called Carr fire affected a Filipino in the area.
