The Nissan Z has officially returned to the Philippines.

At the Philippine International Auto Show 2018, Nissan Philippines launched the new 370Z NISMO alongside its NISMO counterparts: the GT-R NISMO and the NISMO Juke.

Introduced for the first time in 2009, the NISMO 370Z is based on the standard 370Z but receives many upgrades from Nissan's internal tuning division. To begin, it now produces a naturally aspirated 3.7 liter V6 engine with 350 hp and 374 Nm of torque, thanks to a revised calculator and exhaust configuration. In comparison, the standard 370Z produces only 337 hp and 365 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed manual transmission with "SynchroRev Match" function or a 7-speed automatic transmission.

To further improve handling and performance, the NISMO suspension has been added. It includes stiffer springs, new dampers and stronger stabilizers compared to the standard 370Z. There are also larger NISMO brakes with ventilated rotors mounted on the vehicle. There are also more reinforcements on the body and a NISMO stabilizer bar under the hood.

On the outside, the 370Z NISMO boasts many styling enhancements, including front and rear bumpers and more aggressive side skirts. Red NISMO accents then line the width of the front lip, rear diffuser and mirrors. It also comes standard with a ducktail spoiler. The new facade is complemented by the new 19-inch Rays forged wheels wrapped in sport tires and NISMO badges.

Inside, there are more NISMO products to better distinguish the 370Z. It is equipped with NISMO bucket seats, an Alcantara steering wheel, a NISMO shifter knob and red door moldings. There is also a special group of NISMO gauges and a group box.

Nissan Philippines has not yet finalized the timing of availability of the NISMO 370Z at its dealerships. If the 350 hp seems a little too much to your taste, Nissan Philippines will also offer the standard 370Z, but you will have to wait until next year to get it.

No prices have been announced for the NISMO 370Z or 370Z.
