In a notice, the PNR said that a train MSC with scheduled trip at 9:37 to Alabang was already in service while an MSC train with a scheduled trip at 9:30 to Tutuban is also operational.

"An interval of one hour of rail service will be put in place until 2:00 pm today," according to the PNR.

The railway agency announced earlier that it suspended services at 7 am due to flooding in Main Line South, Manila Division Area 1.

At 8am from morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration raised an orange rain warning on the metropolitan areas of Manila, Rizal, Bataan and Zambales.

Residents are also advised to be in a state of alert in case of flooding in low altitude areas. ) {
