The Taeguk Warriors have been training at Perry Park in the lead-up to Saturday's match against the Socceroos at Suncorp Stadium, which is expected to attract a crowd of up to 40,000 people.

It would be fair to say South Korea v Uzbekistan would not bother the turnstyles quite so much, but with about 2500 Korean fans in town for their match against the Socceroos, organizers had been hopeful of a strong Korean contingent at the match.

QSAC was known as QEII Stadium for the 1982 Commonwealth Games and ANZ Stadium when the Nathan came home to the Brisbane Broncos between 1993 and 2003.

Although extensively used by the athletics community, the age is 49,000-capacity in the years since the Broncos returned to Suncorp Stadium.

It hosted Australia's national women's team, the Matildas, when they played Brazil twice in 2014.

More recently, it hosted the Brisbane Roar's infamous Asian Champions League match that saw the Philippines' Ceres-Negros knock the Australians out of the competition.

Tickets to the Socceroos v South Korea match at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday, November 17 (kick-off 6.50pm) are available through Ticketek.

Kick-off for South Korea v Uzbekistan at QSAC will be at 8pm on Tuesday, November 20. Tickets are available through OzTix.
