Olivia Colman, a Broadchurch actress, hopes that her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in the next two drama series of Netflix's The Crown drama will be equally well received.
The Twitter account of the royal show this week publishes an image of Colman's character, sipping tea all dressed in a pale pink suit and a pearl necklace, with the teasing message "patience".
In the footsteps of Foy who represented the monarch during the early years of his reign in The Crown, Colman was chosen to play The Queen in the third and fourth series of critically acclaimed drama, which is expected to cover Events from 1964 to 1976.
