The new iPhones are officially available in retail outlets, with Smart being one of the launch points of sale.

MANILA, Philippines – The new iPhone has officially arrived.
It's an annual ritual for iPhone fans. Apple announces its new phones in September and iPhone loyalists in the Philippines are applauding. Once announced, the expectation of Filipino fans has been launched, namely the official website of Apple and the social networking pages of telecom operators to know the price and availability. And for those who just could not wait, the gray market vendors offered this big patch before official availability.
On Friday, October 26th, however, new iPhones are officially available at official outlets, including Smart. The telecom company hosted an intimate gathering at its PLDT-Smart flagship store at BGC's World Plaza, Taguig City, inviting media, personalities such as radio DJs Sam YG and Debbie Then, and Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez, to name some. But the biggest star of the party was Kris Aquino, who accompanied Bimby Aquino-Yap and approved the new iPhone and the new operator.

Rival Globe also hosted an official launch one day before the launch of Smart on Thursday, October 25th. Official Apple retailers, Beyond The Box and Power Mac Center, also launched midnight launches on Friday, October 26th.
A number of Smart's longtime subscribers were also present at the launch party and were very surprised. According to Smart, the 15 subscribers present had ordered units of 64 GB and 256 GB, but they opted for something different: the much more expensive variant of 512 GB. They also received a rewards card with a value of P10 000. Besides the 15, 85 other subscribers will receive the surprise upgrade from the iPhone. "What better way to launch larger iPhones than with a surprise for Smart customers?" Said Aquino in a press release.
