Specialty Vehicle Engineering, the company that brought us the 2018 Yenko / SC Stage II 2018 Camaro, is back with another ridiculously powerful creation.

This time, SVE was equipping the Corvette Grand Sport with the turbocharged LT-1 6.8-liter (416 cu. Ft.) Engine and the result is predictable: a 1,000-horsepower Vette. In addition to the custom booster, engine upgrades include LT4 V8 CNC-driven high-speed cylinder heads, an improved fuel system, and a larger throttle body.

The 1000 hp Yenko Corvette can be equipped with either a standard seven-speed manual transmission with an active or late-engine An automatic eight-speed vane gearbox with specific performance calibration. To better cope with the immense power of the engine, SVE is launching an upgrade to the Heavy-Duty automatic transmission with a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty.

Only 25 copies of the Yenko / SC Stage II limited edition cars built, and everything will be based on the Corvette Grand Sport 2019 – in both the Coupé and Cabriolet body styles. Each Yenko Corvette / SC Stage II comes with many Z06 options, including Brembo brakes with 14.6-inch discs and 6-piston calipers at the front, and 14.4-inch steel discs with 4-piston calipers at the rear

Those who want more can order the car with the optional Z07 ceramic brake set which also includes a magnetic suspension system, a limited slip differential, stabilizer bars calibrated, a dry drain system and many Z06 performance components.

Prices for the Yenko / SC Stage II upgrade start at $ 68,995 for a manual transmission, or $ 77,995 for the 39, automatic, but do not include the Corvette Grand Sport Donor Car. As part of the cost of a Grand Sport (about $ 65,000), you have an invoice of at least $ 135,000

before adding style options such as ground effects style Z06 ($ 3,495) top half of the rear fairing / diffuser ($ 1,495), painted compressor ($ 1,195), painted body / stripe color brake calipers ($ 1,195), adjustable spoiler center Z06 Wickerbill ( $ 795) and black powder finish with painted stripes ($ 1,195). All in all, it's always a good price for a 1,000 horsepower car, is not it?
