The 5 best videos of the week

Internet music has been a huge dead zone this week. When holidays like 4th of July fall in the middle of the week, everyone is refraining from setting up new things related to online music. Presumably, they understand, probably correctly, that many of us are our offices this week and that whatever appears on the internet will disappear in the ether by the time people come back from their holidays on Monday. But there have been some good videos this week, and five of them are below.

5. 070 Shake – "I laugh when I'm with friends but sad when I'm alone" (Dir?)

You must be a special kind of performer to make a video when it's just a camera on you for three and a half minutes. 070 Shake is a particular kind of performer.

4. Khalid – "OTW" (Director: Ty Dolla $ ign & 6LACK) [Réalisateur: Calmatic]

Get three R & B stars to dress up in matching outfits and make synchronized dances, as if they were stars of the R & B 90's hook, but that's enough to make me happy.

3. CupcakKe – "Hot Pockets" (Dir Logan Fields)

CupcakKe sits on a throne, flourishes with money, while masked strippers make the BlocBoy JB dance "Shoot" and a drag queen plays the piano. She lives her best life.

2. Young Thug – "Up" (Dir.?)

Look at Lil Uzi Green, showing that you can have the best moment of your life even when you live in a Twin Peaks tribute. It's inspiring.

1. Christine and the queens – "It does not matter" (Dir Colin Solal Cardo)

I do not really know what is happening in this video, but I like the idea that it is a dance battle to decide who gets the good lean over this rickety floor lamp.
