TOKYO (Daily Filipino Survey / Asia News Network): A 35-year-old Japanese knotted a doll with the image of virtual star Hatsune Miku.

Hatsune Miku, or simply Miku for his international fans, is the character model designed by the KEI artist for Crypton's Vocaloid voice synthesis program.

His sung voice was sampled by the voice of actress Saki Fujita. The software was released in Japan on August 31, 2007. The fourth version of the software called "Hatsune Miku V4" was released on August 31, 2016.

Miku herself does not have a complex personality, but rather defined by the songs that fans and songwriters make for her.

His appearance is the same. While works of art tend to maintain his aquamarine hair, the fan art sometimes takes the time to redefine Miku's appearance.

As for the happy husband, Akihiko Kondo has found solace and inspiration in the innumerable songs of the virtual diva. This led him to crack the virtual singer and announced his intention to marry Miku through Twitter posts released Aug. 18.

Kondo realized her dream on November 4 with a full wedding ceremony with guests and a blushing bride in the form of a Miku doll dressed in a white wedding dress.

The ceremony was a small and intimate affair with only 39 guests.

Among them were Taro Yamada, a member of the Japanese Parliament, and Ogino Otaku, a member of the Assembly, who shared snapshots of the event through tweets on the same day.

What led to the unusual union? Apparently, Kondo was having trouble interacting with women because of a traumatic experience at work.

Ten years ago, Kondo was bullied in the workplace by his superiors. The experience has marked him to the point that he has lost confidence in women in general. As a result, he was also suspended from his job, reports Unilad.

During these unfortunate moments of his life, he found comforting the sweet voice of the virtual singer, which led him to develop a romantic connection with the character. Over the years, Kondo has accumulated a vast collection of Miku products, including a hologram gadget called Gatebox, which projects an interactive Miku hologram.

Whatever reactions or criticisms Kondo will have on his decision, for the moment, it has emerged that man could not be happier at this stage of his life. – Philippine Daily Inquirer / Asia News Network
