Over the years, Demi Lovato has not hesitated to change her look – say, she said goodbye to her day Camp Rock- a long, long time ago. As a major Lovatic, I love seeing her try and look amazing in a variety of looks, but I will always consider the dark, almost black streaks as her signature. So, when I heard about Demi Lovato's new blonde hair, I was excited to see the change.
If you are lucky enough to be as blessed as Demi is with his good looks, being able to rock a ton of different looks can come easily. She was not famous long before deciding to play with her naturally dark hair and fair complexion, and she tried everything from shaded extensions and a good tan to shiny blonde hair in 2013. She has even proven that celebrities can look semi-shaved. That's right, I'm a fan of her, but even the most objective part can admit that the girl completely masters every look she takes. Lovato is the ultimate hair color chameleon, no wigs needed.
2008 Half shook his naturally dark brown hair, plus the side fringes that I tried to imitate but could never look so fluffy:

This may seem like a lot of changes, but Lovato has been in the industry for years, and in fact there were even more colorful shadows and cuts between the looks above . And even though she has already become blonde (see 2013), I admit that now she was fixed on her dark and nervous hair as her "thing".
So when she posted a preview of her new look on her Instagram Story with a hot blonde melt, I was totally caught off guard … but also, a little obsessed?

According to Allure The Hair Genie Behind Lovato's New Blonde Color is Other Than Amber Maynard, Nine Zero Colorist One Salon in Los Angeles, California. Maynard said Allure that hair transformation took two days, and she and her team co-colored to speed up the lifting process. She mentions that this dramatic change would normally require several trips to the show – but if you're a celebrity who can have a whole team working on you at the same time, why not go there?
Maynard says the process was triggered by Lovato's desire to make a change, which makes sense as she went through a lot of things this year. She recently released a song called "Sober", in which she alludes to a relapse after six years of sobriety. Perhaps the change in appearance also symbolizes internal change? "Half had dark hair for a long time," said Maynard, "We thought what better way to change than to go lighter and add extensions for length?"
Maynard was also specific about the products that she used to achieve the perfect, sweet blonde moment. "We started the process using Joico Color Intensity Eraser and then using Joico Blonde Life," she said. Allure that the top of the hair is a little darker, for a perfectly mixed look: "I formulated its own shadow and I tonic with the liquid color Demi-Permanent Joico Lumishine. "
