The wife of the new head of the terrorist cell Maute caught at GenSan

POLICE arrested Monday morning the wife of the new leader of the terrorist group Maute in a series of operations that have made a death. According to Chief Superintendent Raul S. Supiter of the city's police bureau, Nafisah Pundog, wife of Owaida Marohombsar, also known as Abdulmajib and Abu Dar, is now closely guarded to prevent a possible rescue by militants inspired by the Islamic State. Ms. Pundog would be married to the elusive Abu Dar, the figurehead of Maranao of about 50 members of the terrorist group Maute who stands in the woodland Lanao del Sur, a province of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao. The western command of Mindanao in the town of Zamboanga and its unit covering Lanao del Sur and the city of Marawi, the 103rd brigade, had separately confirmed that Marohombsar had assumed leadership of the terrorist group Maute after the death of its founders, siblings Omarkhayam and Abdullah Maute, during meetings with soldiers in the city of Marawi last October. – PHILSTAR
