With the red carpet already on display and security measures being finalized, all eyes are on the group's president.

Malacañang said that the speech of President Duterte this year would only last 35 minutes since it had promised to read prepared remarks.

Ana Marie Banaag, secretary to Tuesday that the president's speech could last longer, given that Congress is expected to ratify the Bangsamoro Basic Law proposed on the morning of July 23.

"To the extent that the President wanted to shorten his speech, we do not know what would come because it's in Congress of course," she told the ANC's "Beyond Politics."
