A Wisconsin man qualified for the knockout round of NBC's The Voice on Monday night.
Chris Kroeze of Barron, Wisconsin, advanced with a Pleasant interpretation of Cam's "Burning House", but the performance was not convincing enough to keep it without a bit of drama.
Kroeze was in the round of 16 against Michael Lee and their coach, Blake Shelton, decided to choose the winner by throwing a coin.
Kroeze lost the draw, but Shelton used one of his saves to keep him alive, then slammed a wet kiss on his cheek.
The next step for Kroeze will be a live playoff appearance on Monday, Nov. 12, when Kroeze's fate will be left in the hands of viewers.
Kroeze recently returned to her home town of Barron and played for elementary school children, including one with 13-year-old Jayme Closs, who has been missing since her parents' death on October 15.
If you do not watch The Voice but love basketball, you may remember Kroeze, the national anthem singer who preceded the Timberwolves opening game at the Target Center on October 19th. .
