Phish Summer Tour 2019: St. Louis Night 2

During the break between Phish's two sets at St. Louis Arena Chaifetz on Wednesday night, the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup. Then Mike takes the reins, the group bouncing with him on a long pass that was not groovy enough to be funk, but not fuzzy enough to be roomy – in other words, it was pure Phish.

"Light" kept this energy moving, with an even deeper groove, devoid of solos, but instead presenting Phish 's four – headed monster, completely in touch with each other, only participating in twice on their first full tour in seven months. "Waste" provided a breath and "Suzy Greenberg" an exclamation point to a set that had a bit of everything. The icing on the cake was a little more teasing "Gloria" and some slogans Blues of the group.

"Farmhouse" and "First Tube" provided a good punch to close the opening race of the two-night tour. Before everything was finished, Page squeezed into another "faceplant into rock!"
