Two adults and one baby were killed and three firefighters were injured when a fire truck and van collided in Phoenix on Sunday morning.
A man in the van died at the scene of the accident, while a six-month-old child and a woman who were on board died at the hospital, said the spokesman. say the Phoenix Police Department, Sgt. Vince Lewis. The three firefighters were hospitalized and their condition was stable Sunday afternoon, Lewis said.
Firefighters were about to go to emergency at the time of the accident and the truck was lit up and provided with sirens, the police told KPNX, affiliated with NBC.
Officials believe that the deceased man, woman and baby were related, but none of the names of the victims were disclosed.
