Photo: Donald Cerrone, hospitalized, still smiling after the loss of UFC 238

For a guy who just lost all of his title weight and Tony Ferguson's broken bones at UFC 238, Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone seems to be in a good mood.

There were moments of obvious disappointment and frustration after he broke his nose and the blood of his broken nose between turns two and three, causing him to close his eyes and force the doctors to stop fighting. (Watch the highlights here) But once at the microphone with Joe Rogan, he could not help but smile and even seemed to find the situation a bit funny.

This smile was blocked while he was carrying his son backstage after the fight.

And later in the night, he once again made fun of his crumbling face on Instagram:

Then there is this picture shared by Donald's fiance, Lindsay. Once again, always smiling!

With orbital bone fractures sometimes taking more than a year to heal, this could be the last we've seen from "Cowboy" and his lovely family for a while. But given its activity, the UFC tends to keep Cerrone, forced holidays are not the worst thing in the world that can happen to him. And if he can survive the UFC 238 with a smile, he can survive everything.
