July will be a busy month for Disney fans. The movie "The Lion King" will be released in cinemas on July 19th. Two days before the release, Disneyland guests will say goodbye to Mickey's Soundsational. If you plan to visit the resort before this date, you will not want to miss everything that is happening right now. This is the latest addition to Disneyland Park, including summer crowds, Lion King products and more.
Disneyland Park
Main Street, USA
The month of June has been pretty laid-back throughout Disneyland, but we are certainly seeing an increase in the summer crowd this month.
At Emporium, there are a lot of new merchandise available. Like this lanyard of castle identity photo, available for $ 16.99.
And a new pin "The Lion King" is available, featuring Simba and Nala. You can feel the love of this pin for $ 9.99.
Two new baseball hats have been launched just in time for the summer sun that hits Disneyland. The first hat features Buzz Lightyear with its iconic phrase "To Infinity Beyond!". It will cost you $ 21.99.
And the second hat features our favorite cock, HeiHei. This hat is available for purchase at $ 27.99
A new version of the popular yellow Disneyland t-shirt with a rainbow letter is now available in green! You can add this shirt to your collection for $ 24.99.
On leaving Emporium, we noticed some paint tweaking outside Carnation Cafe. We appreciate the fact that Disney has been paying attention to these details lately in the entire resort.
In front of China Closet, a new ceramic mug for the 30th anniversary of the little mermaid is for sale. This cute mug features a mermaid tail for a handle, along with a beautiful sketch of Ariel at the bottom of the mug. This mug is available for $ 22.99.
Also on the China Closet, you'll find Disneyland's Starland travel mugs. Until recently, they were only available in the Starbucks store on Main Street, but they have now made an appearance at World of Disney.
Adventureland
If you are excited about the movie "The Lion King", you have a whole range of new products at your disposal to show your support. We stumbled upon the display quite at Adventureland Bazaar.
Three new shirts are on sale for $ 34.99, with designs featuring Nala, the Simba baby and the adult Simba with Timon and Pumbaa.
New Orleans Square
Pirates of the Caribbean was in the festive mood this morning. Distribution members in front of the entrance to the attraction were spotted waving a pirate flag while the Bootstrappers were giving a performance.
Critter Country
If you wanted to take home a small piece of laughing place, you can now use two new soft toys. Br'er Bear ($ 29.99) and Br'er Fox ($ 26.99) are now available in Pooh Corner.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
The Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge booking system ended on June 24th. And to be honest, it is always strange that we can enter directly into the country. But since this opening day, land status has remained open, the entry into Critter Country being the most enjoyable.
There is virtually no guest using this entry today. But we met a crowd of guests visiting with Chewy near the resistance base.
Once we went to Black Spire Outpost, we saw the crowd begin to gather.
Many guests visit Den of Antiques in Dok-Ondar, despite the number of items sold.
The kyber crystals are still available for purchase with the purchase of a Jedi holocron, however, they are no longer advertised.
Millennium Falcon: The smugglers race remains a popular attraction, with a long waiting time to get there.
The Oga Cantina always uses the reservation system the same day. We spotted a queue of guests waiting for their reservation outside the Cantina.
Troops continue to patrol Batuu in search of troublemakers and members of the Resistance.
If you like to bring a reusable bottle of water to Disneyland, do not forget to go to the Batuu water station. This one is located near the milk stand.
Droid Depot has been relatively empty, so you probably will not have to wait long to build your own droid.
Frontierland
We certainly noticed a lot of people at Frontierland as we were coming out of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. One of the reasons we prefer the entrance by Critter Country.
Imaginary world
Sleeping Beauty Castle continues to shine after the makeover.
If you've had a hard time finding the hugely popular Minnie Mood Little Mermaid headband anywhere in Disneyland, do not miss out on Bibbidi Bobbidi. We have identified several available for sale.
Unfortunately, it seems that the time of a short line for Peter Pan's Flight is over. Things seem to be back to normal, the waiting time being on average 40 minutes.
Overall, Fantasyland is very busy and invaded by large families.
Fortunately, Mad Tea Party has not been touched by a long queue.
However, the Matterhorn bobsleighs have remained very popular, with waiting times of 40 minutes or more.
We managed to spot characters with guests on the way to "it's a small world". It can be seen that the wicked Queen must be dealing with young princesses.
While Peter Pan sits down for a tale hour.
And speaking of "It's a small world", the line for this attraction was long enough today, which makes it a good time to use FastPass for this ride.
Mickey's Toontown
If you have eye on a new calendar for next year, then you are in luck! The new Disney Parks 2020 calendar has arrived and we have spotted it on sale at Gag Factory.
Curiously, it looks like Disneyland Starbucks travel mugs are on sale here too.
Before leaving Toontown, we spotted this lovely interaction with Pluto.
Tomorrowland
If you need water on a hot day, you can ask for a free cup of water in almost any fast food restaurant. They are usually served in a paper cup of Disney Parks. However, Galactic Grill has changed its policy and now serves free water in smaller plastic cups.
Hyperspace Mountain is still available in Tomorrowland without Disney being warned of the planned departure of the overlay.
In Star Trader, we discovered new clothes on the theme of Star Wars. The first being this Boba Fett Buntery Hunter T-shirt.
The second folder contains works from "Star Wars: A New Hope." Both shirts are available for $ 34.99.
At the exit of Disneyland Park, we have another battle to face the summer crowd of Tomorrowland. But overall, the park was not so bad today.
That's all we got from this trip to Disneyland Park. Make sure to consult us on Twitter and Instagram for more updates from Disneyland Resort.
