Bharti Singh’s husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, was arrested by the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) in connection with the drug case. He was questioned by officials for nearly 15 hours. The Telly couple were seen leaving the NCB office.
Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa have been making the headlines since yesterday, and not for all the right reasons. The couple from Telly Town went under the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) scanner in connection with the drug case. A raid was carried out by a team of BCN officials who raided the duo’s residence in Andheri (Mumbai). According to the NCB statement, the agency recovered 86.5 grams of ganja (cannabis). They were summoned by the BCN for further questioning.
Yesterday (November 21), Bharti Singh was arrested by the NCB team. Now in the latest development it is reported that Harsh has also been arrested in the drug case. Harsh was arrested after an almost 3-hour interrogation by the agency on the morning of Sunday, November 22. In a reported press release, NCB said, “Ms. Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya have accepted the consumption of ganja. Bharti Singh has been placed under arrest under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) ”.
In the NCB statement, it was revealed that the raid was carried out after receiving a denunciation from drug dealers. The office also in its statement revealed that Bharti and Harsh have accepted the use of the drug. The two were recently spotted leaving the NCB office. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB (Mumbai) told ANI that drug use charges have been brought against Bharti Singh. The duo were taken to hospital for a medical examination.

The Bollywood drug connection emerged after the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14 (2020). Recently, NCB also raided the residence of actor Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, and film producer Firoz Nadiadwala earlier this month. Not only that, TV couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar’s house were also under NCB’s radar in the drug investigation a few months ago.
