Although many guests have already been able to discover Remy’s Ratatouille adventure during the previews, the attraction and extension of the France pavilion only officially opened at the EPCOT on October 1. The grand opening also marks the launch of the merry-go-round’s virtual queue.
The status of the virtual queue is displayed on tip signs in the park.
Although difficult to see during the day, there were twinkling lights in the bushes leading to the entrance to the Ratatouille extension.
The boarding party status sign was discovered next to the Ratatouille Arch.
You may recall that there were several updates to the Ratatouille panel last year before any part of the expansion opened.
The boarding group sign indicates which groups are currently boarding.
The entire extension is now open to visitors.
The goods basket currently only contains a selection of goods.
The attraction was actually down when we first pulled up.
The queue reaches the crêperie de Paris.
A special PhotoPass opportunity is available at the fountain.
The three signs at the main entrance to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure have been hidden.
The signs were first installed a year ago, but changes to the Walt Disney World queue system have since been announced. The right panel now reads “virtual queue” instead of “standby”.
The center panel originally read “FastPass +” but has been hidden for now.
The left-hand ‘single rider’ sign has been replaced with a sign for Lightning Lane, although the service has not yet started.
Once your boarding group is called, you can approach Cast Members at the end of the line.
Cast Members will then confirm that your group has been called before you enter the queue.
