Thomas Tuchel wasted little time getting straight to work as Chelsea head coach.
Her arrival may have been delayed for a few days – the Chelsea hierarchy apparently made the decision to replace Frank Lampard after last Tuesday’s loss to Leicester City but only put her into action yesterday morning – but after the confirming his arrival this afternoon, he’s already taken his first workout in the evening.
Tuchel, already stocked with his own monogrammed training kit, can be seen pointing and screaming and maybe even a little grinning in photos from Tuesday’s late session at Cobham under the lights (start time of 6 p.m., local). The ex-PSG and BVB man has a pretty good set of guiding principles that he likes to dig deeper into in his players, which could be a challenge as a mid-season fixture, but hopefully we’ll see soon results in the field.
