Welcome back to Fun with Calendars. As you probably know, May 4th is now widely referred to as May 4, a play based on the famous Star Wars saying, “May the Force be with you”. March 10 became Mario Day, focused on Nintendo, because “Mar10”. And let’s not forget the best day in the whole world: March 14, otherwise known as Pi Day due to the eponymous mathematical constant that begins with “3.14”.
Wait, are we celebrating math this weekend? No, the food: say it out loud and it becomes “Pie Day”. Hence an abundance of offers and promotions focused on pizzas and pies. Below, I’ve rounded up some of my favorites, as I do every year, although this list is by no means complete. There may be local shops and restaurants offering discounts and freebies, so check in with your pizzerias, bakeries, etc.

Pi Day Pizza Offers
What could be better than pizza? Nothing. It is the perfect food. You can even make it healthy (ish) if you’re weird and like to fill it with veggies. (In fact, I usually go for light cheese and the extra sauce, so maybe I’m the weirdest.) Here are the best Pi Day pizza deals I’ve found:
7 eleven: Participating stores will be offering large pizzas – cheese, pepperoni and “extreme meat” varieties – for $ 3.14 each. You can get it in store or through the 7-Eleven app. 7-Eleven will also donate one meal to Feeding America for each whole pizza purchased on Pi Day.
Pizza Blaze: As in past Pi Days, the chain offers any full-size pizza for $ 3.14. You will need to download the Blaze Pizza app, create an account and access the offer in the Rewards section.
BJ’s restaurant and brasserie: From now to Sunday you can get half of a large pizza to take away or delivery with the promo code HALFOFF.
Hungry howie’s: From March 13 to 16, you can get a medium pizza at a topping for $ 3.14 with the purchase of Howie Bread.
Marco’s Pizza: Buy any large pizza at menu price and get a second (of equal or lesser value) for only $ 3.14. Use promo code code PIDAY.
Dad johns: Order one large pizza, get a second for $ 3.14.
Save a lot: If you have one of these grocery stores nearby, stop by March 14 for a Mantia frozen pizza for $ 3.14.
Your pie: Get a 10-inch pizza for $ 3.14 off when you install the Your Pie Rewards app and use the Pi Day deal.
Other Pi Day offers
It turns out that there are other types of pies: fruit, chicken pot, etc. (Also: smoothies?) Here are some notable deals on them:
Boston market: Buy a pie and a drink, get a second pie free. Also known as BOGO, this offer requires you to use the Boston Market app. It is only good on Pi day.
The fresh market: On March 14, you can save $ 3.14 on the store’s 9-inch apple and cherry pies and chicken pies.
Jamba juice: It’s not a pizza or a pie, but from March 12-14, My Jamba Rewards members can get a free small smoothie with the purchase of a large one.
